Islamic Marriage and Its Sheer Beauty

Posted by admin on Wednesday Jun 30, 2010 Under Beauty

An Islamic marriage is very important in its culture and religion. Marriage and family are the most important things in a Muslim’s life. The Koran mentions two types of marriages. It is considered to be a social contract between a man and a woman. Unlike many others, this religion considers man and women equal.

A woman can even propose marriage to a man or through an intermediary as per Islamic law. The laws of marriage however does not mean that a man and woman have to be compulsorily together for life. Divorce is recognized by the religion and they have a ceremony during marriage where the husband will pay dowry towards the wife. It can be any amount.

Sometimes a woman may be deserted by her husband or they may mutually agree to separate. In such situations the money will help the woman financially. Most often the man will pay the woman in the form of cash. Others would pay in the form of property and also a running business which the woman can run on her own if she wants to.

In an Islamic marriage by Islamic law, it is always agreed that all work will be divided equally by the man and woman. The man will provide financially for the woman and the woman will take care of the children and home and also provide food. Many men prefer their wives to be well educated.

Many Muslim women seek higher education and always prefer to do a lot more work outside their homes. They may even contribute to their society in several ways. However they have to adhere to the rules about their dress code. They also cannot shun responsibilities after their marriage especially concerning their children.

A Muslim marriage condemns the union of two people of the same sex. Islamic law does not recognize this kind of marriage and it frowns upon homosexuality and also bisexuality. A Muslim woman f she works after marriage, can keep her earnings to herself and need not contribute any to the house.

Islamic law has not forbidden women to marry from any other culture like a Jew or Christian, but in today’s world, in Islamic culture they insist upon a woman’s marriage to a Muslim man. The Nikah Mutah law stated in an Islamic marriage is the second type of marriage.

But this is disputed over the by several Muslim members. They think that this law was abolished. This law basically states that the man need not take full responsibility for the woman, and the woman can leave the house whenever she wants. An Islamic marriage is usually forced upon men who can afford to marry.

In a Muslim society, there is an unwritten law that all people in their community are required to follow the rules of Islam. Adults disapprove of youngsters behaving inappropriately and doing things against the writings of the Koran. This is one reason why elders prefer to select the bride’s groom and vice versa.

Skin Care Tips for Women Over 50

Posted by admin on Tuesday Jun 15, 2010 Under Beauty

As a woman matures, skin care and makeup application changes but they always go hand in hand to create beauty. More focused attention to skin care is in order. “Less is more” when it comes to makeup. Makeup should be applied and colors should be chosen in a way that helps lift the face to make you look younger and more attractive. Your cosmetics should never be used as something to hide behind, rather your makeup and skin care should be used to enhance and accent the mature beauty that you have become.

Body hair in new places is something you can count on – again; it’s hormones in action. You may want to start shaving some places where body hair grows, but whether you do is up to you. Some guys who grow facial hair like to let it develop into a mustache and beard. Some girls may decide to leave the hair on their legs and under their arms as is. It’s all up to you and what you feel comfortable with. Brush your tongue.

Remember how stunning the ladies were in the 1950’s? That style worked beautiful back then, but if you’ve recently been asked if you’re going to sock hop, it’s time to box up those old Look Magazines and run–not walk–into the 21st century. Get as many fashion magazines as you can find, and don’t overlook the internet, the best free resource for ordering magazines, finding hairstyles, clothes, shoes, and an abundance of attitude for today’s mature woman.

The more you keep your body hydrated the longer your skin will stay elastic and supple. Your inside will be happy as well and be less likely to hold on to water weight due to “water feminine” just like your body adjusts and slows down your metabolism for “calorie famine” when you severely cut back on eating.

Beautiful skin, a beautiful body and a beautiful sense of style does not have an end once you hit 50s. There’s very little difference between the recommended diet and exercise habits for a 20-year-old and that of a 50-year-old. In fact, the only difference is that a healthy diet and regular exercise are more important than ever. During the aging process, the key to keeping your body properly functioning and in shape is to eat healthy and stay active. At 50 and older, most adults are still capable of completing most exercises.

Place it to draw attention to your best asset. One nice ring (and I mean one, leave the extra rings at home Liberace!) or a nice bracelet will draw attention to your hands, a nice necklace will draw attention to your neck or, if it drops low, your bust, a great belt will draw attention to your waist, nice earring to your neck and face.

Don’t skip out on exercise. Who says you can’t exercise when you’re over 50? Heck, we’ve seen quite a few and they’ve outdone us at the gym! If you’ve never exercised before, talk with your doctor before beginning a program. As soon as you have an okay, try walking a few minutes a day and increase those minutes by every other day. If you have a dog, walk him or her.

Avoid applying blush to the cheekbones since this can make aging faces look overly thin. Instead, apply the blush to the apples of your cheeks and blend, blend, blend. Also, look for cream blush instead of powder. Powder tends to settle into fine lines and wrinkles, making them look extremely visible.

Dreams and Meditation

Posted by admin on Tuesday Jun 1, 2010 Under Meditation

Dear kindred soul, as you know we humans have a rich history, and dreams play an important role in our journey, it has always been the case, earliest recorded dream dates back to 1760 B.C. to ancient babylonian times contained in “epic of Gilgamesh, and mentions Ishtar and Izdubar, in this recorded dream, the king summons his seers and commands them to interpret a concerning dream. Similarly famous story in the Old Testament the Book of Daniel (2: 2-3) which mentions the King Nebuchadnezzar: “commanded to call the magicians, and the astrologers, and the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans, for to shew the king his dreams. So they came and stood before the king said unto them, I have dreamed a dream and my spirit was troubled to know the dream.” In the end it was Daniel, who, enlightened by the a vision sent to him by God, interpreted Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, first explaining ” the secret which the hath demanded cannot the wise men, the astrologers, the magicians, the soothsayers, shew unto the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days.” Daniel (2:27-28). As you can see many cultures have always taken dreams very seriously.

But what are dreams? why do we dream? the answer to that question is up to the individual, as we are in a dream state we fall in to utmost relaxation of our being, similar state can be achieved in meditation, this also might raise the question; can we dream without sleeping? well I don’t really know the answer to that, all I know is we sometimes daydream,

We can all learn to analyze our dream, buy spending quite a long time to understanding the meanings and decoding it, we can have a dream diary to write them down, while it’s still fresh in our mind. There is a lot of people who take dreams very seriously, and I am one of those people, and in the search engines if you just search “dreams” you will get millions of search results. Dreams are personal to us, we usually share them with family and friends. Also there are many dream analyzers online and all are eager to re dream your dream with you. I personally believe, when we try to analyze a dream we must try to accomplish this by taking the whole dream and everything seen, heard and felt as one. example if we saw ocean in a dream, the meaning for it, is interwoven with every other detail of that particular dream, this is very important to truly get the one real meaning.

And every dream must be translated as good and pure,
